Pumpkin Patchin' 2014

We took last weekend to go to the pumpkin patch.  It was supposed to be the last of the sunny days before a week long stretch of rain came.  Said rain is here along with flood warnings, but enough of the rain, and on to the pumpkin patch!

Upon arrival, I was thankful for the suggestion to wear my rainboots because it was quite muddy.  But the tractor was no worse for wear.
Auntie shared some James love as we took turns carting him through the field...making stops to pick up rocks, and other treasures at his request.
We were given a wagon and told to pick out whatever we'd like, so we tromped through the field searching for the perfect pumpkins.
The guys had matching romeos on and I couldn't resist a picture.
Grandad and Grandma showed up to pick out some for their front porch, and for snuggles with their favorite (only) grandson.
We were able to snag a family photo too!  And I think this one deserves a frame.
There is no hope for any of our kiddos to have their eyes show when smiling.

Have you gone to the pumpkin patch yet?  Any fall traditions you especially look forward to?
