February: cooking split

2014 started and I decided to cook a from scratch (mostly) meal twice a week.  January went by fabulously.  This month...we were still eating daily, but Brad took over his fair share of the big meals.  He has been doing excellently (as per usesh)...putting me to shame honestly.  Have I ever mentioned how lucky I am to have married a man who can cook too?  It makes for a nice evening when he comes home and I am looking harried that he will take my idea and run with it.  Or even text halfway through the day saying, "I'm taking care of dinner and we are having xyz."  Am I complaining, NO!  Am I feeling slightly guilty, maybe.  But I can quickly let it go and enjoy chatting while someone else is standing over the stove.  Here is OUR biweekly list.

Crock-pot roast, mashed potatoes, green beans
Spanish Tortilla, oranges
Spaghetti, garlic bread, and roasted asparagus
Taco Salad
Curry Chicken Garbanzo Stew, homemade bread
Mozerella & asparagus tart, orange-carrot-coconut milk smoothie
Chicken Quinoa Chili and cornbread with honey
Hotdogs, macaroni and cheese, and french fries

And this coming month things will be quite a bit different on the food front.  I was just put on an elimination diet for James...meaning no cow milk protein, no eggs, no nuts, no fish and no shellfish and nothing that contains any of those either.  If you have any recipes, please let me know...or any ideas for treats...I am all ears because the next six weeks may stretch into eternity with no chocolate.
