India: Mumbai to Vasco da Gama

After a day of sightseeing we were moving.
Wished well our neighbors of just a few days by the YMCA...


Boarded a train...


And a night bus to Vasco da Gama...it took around 13 hrs.

    I thought vasco da game was in Brazil? isnt that the name of a portuguese explorer?

    Dan - Vasco da Gama was an explorer, Portuguese, but was also the first European to reach India...his initial visit did not go well, no did his second. But there is still a town named after him, I assume named during the colonial reign of the British but am not quite sure.
