These mornings have been so frigid (I don't handle cold well). I woke up with my nose like an ice cube, and the floor like a skating rink. But when I peeked out the windows and saw all of the beauty as a result of the cold, I bravely bundled up and stepped outside to snap a few photos before the rising sun could melt away the night's handiwork.
The last leaves hanging onto the apple tree will soon be gone.
The ground was covered in 2 inch ice castles. (I love stepping on them and hearing the crunch).
Here is all that is left of our summer strawberry patch. The deer have since nipped off the green ends.
