working on a bag

I don't know quite what I am going to do with it yet. I simply wanted my hands to be practicing, so now I have this bag. Perhaps I was unconsciously avoiding working on my senior show, but its nice to do a project just for the joy of doing it, and not because it is necessary. As to the senior show (this and that) , it is going well, and I have finished drawing a few more portraits, so I am right on schedule.

In other exciting new, maybe not quite so riveting, I cleaned the apartment yesterday. James Taylor in the background, the beautiful Washington sun shining through our windows, it was glorious. And just as I sat down to enjoy my mint tea, I received a phone call from a friend who was visiting from Pennsylvania. It was great to get to chat with her. She is working on a farm and is part of a community house there. However, she lives in the servant quarters in a different house. She had some wonderful stories, as well as some great lessons to share. One of them being, learn how to address and interact with people in every situation.
